Landscaping!!!

Luke and I had a very productive Sunday. We spent most of the day re-doing and adding to our current landscaping. We planted some hosta's earlier this Spring, so we put top soil and mulch over them. We also raked up all our old mulch from last year and put new mulch down, along with some new grass. It was a lot of work but it was a lot of fun, and has sparked several other ideas/home improvement projects. We'll be sure to keep you all posted!

Memorial Day Fun

Hello All-

Luke and I spent Memorial Day weekend at Pomme De Terre Lake. It's located about 3 hours Southeast of Kansas City. We left Friday afternoon and stayed there until Monday morning. We had a great time. We stayed in a cute little cabin no tv or extra amenities. We went tubing, cooked out, made s'mores, and Luke got to shoot his beloved gun on our friend Sam's property. All in all it was a great 3 day weekend.

P.S. Luke also brought 2 friends home from this trip. We found 2 ticks on him on Wednesday morning. Yuck! :) Good thing we found them though.
