Lily's favorite toy...

For Christmas my Mom got Lily this ball that talks. Let me just say this has become Lily's favorite toy, and can be some what annoying. Just kidding Mom. But in all seriousness she plays with this toy everyday. She chases it around and smacks it into the furniture, walls, and doors. I finally caught some video of her that I just had to post. Keep in mind she is not allowed to get on our furniture and I believe she surprised herself as much as she suprised us. Enjoy!

2010 Update

An update has been long overdue. The Christmas season was a great one for Luke and I. We were able to spend time with both of our families. We drove to Ohio first, for Christmas with my family. Then a few days later we flew to San Francisco for a wedding on Luke's side of the family. The wedding was absolutely gorgeous! We spent a few extra days exploring the San Francisco Bay area, and I was able to see Angela. We went to the Golden Gate bridge, ate at Ike's Place (a famous sandwich shop from the Food Network), and walked to Fisherman's Wharf, where I got to have my first mini doughnut. Delicious! We rang in New Year's at a restaurant in the North Beach area - it was really nice.

2010 Update: One word - Change! At the end of last November Luke interviewed for a position in Montgomery, AL. After a few weeks of weighing out the pro's and con's we decided to take the plunge and try something new. This put me in an interesting situation in terms of future employment. Long story short, I made the tough decision to leave Cerner, and try something new as well. So, we both got new jobs! I am working at UAB (University of Birmingham Alabama) and Luke is working at Baptist (a hospital in Montgomery). This past weekend we packed up our house and made the big move to Alabama. This weekend will be my first one in the house! I am definitely looking forward to feeling normal again.
